It’s become painfully obvious that “climate change” is not an existential threat based on atmospheric carbon, nor is “rewilding” a legitimate management policy. Instead, both are merely buzzwords used to justify totalitarian programs that are more destructive and unscientific than what they are purportedly meant to replace.
If you’re bureaucrat who has a messy bed at home and you can’t look people in the eye then you get angry at those that can and can do. So you work with enormously wealthy people who are 3rd and 4th generation wealth who are painfully guilt ridden but not enough to give up the wealthy life style. You collaborate to destroy any and all things good. California is a giant Petri dish of failed government planning and overreach. Well they got their wish and are burning it all down. It works until enough people say no more. Of course we have been saying that about Cuba and North Korea for decades…
Universities have indoctrinated the current agency leadership. It’s not that the knowledge about good management doesn’t exist, it isn’t being taught. And once you are working for the land management agencies, you will have to conform in order to advance. Selling your soul in the process.
This is about the government and the agencies working in tandem, using terms and propaganda like "climate change", "green energy", and "land management", to steal these lands from the ranchers who have for generations managed these lands with love, care, and kept it safe. Their goal is more likely to turn the land into high-dollar private property luxury land retreats all throughout CA.
The National Park Service is the government. There is no tandem about it. You are correct about using propaganda to get what they want. However, speaking as a former federal employee, not all of them are in on the plot. There are some great folks on the ground who are truly trying to do the right thing. These are not the people who are in charge, or have any hope of ever being in charge because they do not subscribe to the ideology. Additionally, most of us are horrified at the idea of hyper wealthy people locking this land up.
Not like this. These lands have been stolen from people who lived on them, loved it, managed it, and kept it safe. Fire came because the government took it away from those people and left it to fail.

Why do people who know nothing run everything ?
..sad conclusion to a once well-maintained and beautiful island..
Democrats destroy everything they touch.

How can they do this? This breaks my heart.
They can and so they do it. And there will be zero accountability.
Fire is part of nature.
