I watched the whole interview. Great conversation and information. Thank you!
Up north in Stehekin, WA, the National Park Service (NPS) has been trying to force the residents of Stehekin off their land for decades. Eco Nuts in Seattle want to put grizzlies in North Cascades National Park. Hikers can't carry guns there. I guess they'll have to rely on bear spray. Yeah, that will scare off a grizzly, sure.
Water is life. The state and NGOs cut off the water; people have to move.
PS: I never heard back from KRRC or received a copy of their Form 990 to the IRS, which KRRC said they'd send me in 24 hours. It's been 72 hours since I made my request.
I just looked up Iron Gate Dam on Google Earth. The 2025 satellite image shows Iron Gate Dam as still being there. The river looks clean. So, what's going on with that?

Interesting. Would love to hear if you do hear back.
Will do, but I think KRRC now consists of a web page and that's it.
The Grand Canyon is next. The amount of sediment behind Glen Canyon Dam is mind boggling.
Interesting...
The Sierra Club is advocating for it.
